Living in this current time there are many hours in which to do the things I always put on hold.  I can have no argument with myself as to why I can’t get back to my writing. This includes relaunching my blog which has been left unattended for a long while now. I am aware that the days for many have become saturated with information about coronorvirus and the news related to it. Everything we do seems to be touched and coloured by it. I want to escape from that as much as I can. However, I am drawn to write about relationship and mental health and our current situation is effecting both of those things in many ways. I have no desire to write about only this but these issues are very prominent at this time and I cannot turn away from them completely. There is no consensus on how we ‘should’ be living our lives at the moment. This is causing some tensions within friendship groups, family and couples as we try to negotiate ground rules or struggle to accept we all feel differently. We have been confronted by a new twist in our desire to maintain positive connection with others.
